Moving some brick, shoveling caliche, and denailing wood is what we did today.

When it was time for fruit and cookies we said hooray!!!

At lunchtime we tried to take a nap…but when we heard hammers go tap, tap, tap……

We knew it was time to get back to work.

Oh, the hot sun was a shining, the masons were a flirting, and we were all working up a sweat.

When the day was over we were basically drenched and wet.

At the end of the day we had a special treat….

Playing baseball with the masons, which team would be beat?

Randall had a home run and Dave got onto second base.

The crowd cheered and there was a smile on his face.

Rice, beans, and some eggplant was waiting for us at our Catholic center.

A home cooked meal, what could be better???

We had a quick meeting and talked about our close knit group and how well we get along.

I think we all feel that in the Habitat family we now belong.

So to sleep we go to prepare for what’s next to come.

So long and goodnight, we hope tomorrow will bring lots of fun!!!
