Eager to respond to the crisis caused by Hurricane Katrina, in 2009 Dave & Susi worked with Habitat for Humanity Bay-Waveland Area in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi from January through March along with fellow volunteers Terry & Sue Baughman. Susi developed a fully-funded regional Affordable Green Building conference and created a Voluntourism package to attract volunteer teams. Terry & Dave re-worked the office computer systems, and Sue became a great builder and partner-family ambassador.
